Description :
Organic acids have multi usages in poultry as they control microbial growth, inhibition of pathogenic bacteria by pH regulation and enhances nutrients digestibility.
It is important that poultry birds keep a low gastric pH, so they can activate enzymes which are critical for protein digestion. This low pH also prevents growth of pathogens. Pathogenic microbes compete with the birds for vital nutrients in feed and grow quickly which higher pH leading to harm in health and productivity of the birds.
Salmocid having unique combination of organic & inorganic acids responsible for reduction in the growth of pathogenic bacteria, mould & yeast in water by lowers the water pH level. Thus improve the water quality resulting improved growth & performance. It is also helpful in making conditions favourable for colonisation of useful bacteria like lactobacilli within the small intestine.
